Our Basecoat Candy Pearl Midcoat is formulated to be the absolute best quality at an affordable price. We concentrated on bringing a distinctive custom Candy Pearl effect in an incredibly user friendly system. (Show over black basecoat in images, different color bases will change color)

Our Quart Kit Includes:
- One Quart of Candy Pearl Color
- One Quart of Reducer (your choice of speed)
- Mixing Sticks, Strainers, And Mix Cups
The Candy Pearl Color mixes 1:1 with the Reducer making 2 Quarts of sprayable Candy Pearl.
Reducer speed depends on the temperature of the environment where product will be applied. Select Fast for temperatures below 70 degrees, Medium for 70-85 degrees, and Slow for above 85 degrees.

I used the black basecoat and went 3 coats of the candy pearl midnight blue for the sides of tank and stripes down the center of fender. Then lightly sanded tape lines with 1000 grit. Then 3 coats clear. The paint laid very even and was extremely easy to maintain even color with the mid coat candy. I used fast reducer and 25psi. The paint was smooth and no orange peel. But, I did wet sand and buffed because I did not want the tape lines from the different colors. Harley-davidson usually does not sand out there lines but I prefer a mirror no line smooth surface. Extremely easy to achieve with wet sanding and buffing. If i did not do a two tone paint job I feel this paint laid smooth enough that no sanding or buffing needed. This is now our source for wicked custom painting.
my son is a body -paint guy he loved the quality of the paint he painted my 57 chevy 210 sedan with it it looks awsome the color is awsome he has a 71 chevelle will get paint from you thank you !
