This listing is for the Basecoat Paint and Reducer Only!  You will still need a clearcoat to topcoat this product.  Our Auto Paint HQ OEM basecoat system uses the latest technology to produce accurate OEM colors.   This extremely high quality, fast covering basecoat mixes 1:1 with our included universal urethane reducer.  

This basecoat is designed for overall use only.  As there are too many variables that can affect color match, we cannot guarantee color match for repair work.  If you want to use this product for spot painting and repair work, please understand that we take no responsibility nor make any claims regarding color match.

Our Quart Kit Includes:

  • One Quart of Reducer (your choice of speed).
  • Mix Sticks, Strainers, and Mixing Cup.

  

 

The Basecoat Color mixes 1:1 with the reducer making 2 Quarts of sprayable Base. 

Reducer speed depends on the temperature of the environment where product will be applied.  Select Fast for temperatures below 70 degrees, Medium for 70-85 degrees, and Slow for above 85 degrees.

Almost perfect match to Honda oem nh583m silver

Keep in mind most of the time if we are using this, we are trying to match paint that has 20 plus years of time and uv exposure. This is close enough that I can't knock the paint or the manufacture. The metalic bits are the same size and texture laying down as the factory flakes. Just a slight hint of darker off angle tones is present in the flake. 95% of people looking won't notice. My car had a previous repair done and the hood was reshot. This Auto Paint HQ product is far better than whatever the other person used for the hood. Very pleased overall.
