Our Auto Paint HQ OEM basecoat system uses the latest technology to produce accurate OEM colors. This complete, extremely high quality, fast covering basecoat kit is formulated to give you an easy-to-use, high gloss, high quality finish for your vehicle
This basecoat is designed for overall use only. As there are too many variables that can affect color match, we cannot guarantee color match for repair work. If you want to use this product for spot painting and repair work, please understand that we take no responsibility nor make any claims regarding color match.

Our Quart Kit Includes:
- One Quart of Basecoat Color
- One Quart of Reducer (your choice of speed).
- One Quart 4:1 Super Wet Show Clear with 1/2 Pint Activator or One Quart 2:1 Super Wet Euro Clear with Pint Activator (your choice of Activator speed)
- Mix Sticks, Strainers, and Mixing Cups.
Everything you need to create an ultra high gloss, extremely durable Basecoat/Clearcoat finish.
The Basecoat Color mixes 1:1 with the reducer making 2 Quarts of sprayable Base. The 4:1 mix ratio Super Wet Show Clear Kit makes 1-1/4 quarts of sprayable Clear. The 2:1 mix ratio Super Wet Euro Clear Kit makes 1-1/2 quarts of sprayable Clear.
Reducer and Activator speed depends on the temperature of the environment where product will be applied. Select Fast for temperatures below 70 degrees, Medium for 70-85 degrees, and Slow for above 85 degrees.

- Processing time: Mixing, and Packaging. Most Orders are completed and ready to ship within 24-48 hours
- Shipping time: This refers to the time it takes for items to be shipped from our warehouse to the destination. US orders are shipped by Fed Ex. After processing and leaving the warehouse, items usually take between 2 and 5 days to arrive at their destination but can take longer from time to time.

Ok, this is my second project with 2Ks. Delivery was very quick. My first impression was the paint kit was packaged far better than my previous purchase from another supply house. Strong box, well packed with "lock rings" on quarts. TDS were included for primer, base and clear coat- very helpful. Value- your getting 1qt of base and 1qt of reducer, so 2 qts paintable. At this price many suppliers are selling 1 qt ready to paint basecoats. Color match- spot on for 2013 Tacoma Nautical blue. Compatibility- I think this is where it really paid off. I probably made every mistake in the book with regards to flash times, recoat times, mil thickness, you name it and should have experienced krinkles, die back, shrinkage- you name it, but I did not. Could be in part thanks to Colorados 75F days with low humidity, but I think the paint quality and using all APHQ paints saved my "%$ss!! Note- I did have some burn throughs to bare metal that I primered with 1K etch, then APHQ filler primer thinned to sealer (about 30% reducer) and resanded. This may have been a mistake as I think I sanded the sealer too thin in a couple of spots and the basecoat re-activated the 1K spray can primer. So spot sanded, spot primered with 2k and all was fine. If I had to do all over again I would wait longer (24 hrs +) for primer to cure and will never use 1K for burn throughs or anything else. Gloss came out nice- some orange peel but very acceptable for a daily driver. I'm sure I could cut and polish to a mirror, but I dont want to cut the clear- I want it to last as long as possible.
