Our Candy Pearlized Basecoat Kits are uniquely formulated to give you a Dark and Dramatic Candy Tri-coat Pearlescent effect in a user friendly system.

Our Quart Kit Includes:
- One Quart of Black Base Color
- One Quart of Candy Pearl Color
- Two Quarts of Reducer (your choice of speed)
- One Quart 4:1 mix Super Wet Show Clear with 1/2 Pint Activator or One Quart Super Wet Euro Clear with Pint Activator (your choice of Activator speed)
- Mixing Sticks, Strainers, And Mix Cups
Everything needed to create an incredibly deep custom candy pearl effect, with an ultra high gloss finish, and long durability.
The Black Base Color mixes 1:1 with the reducer making 2 Quarts of sprayable Base. The Candy Pearl Color mixes 1:1 with the reducer making 2 Quarts of sprayable Candy. The 4:1 mix ratio Super Wet Show Clear Kit makes 1-1/4 quarts of sprayable Clear. The 2:1 mix ratio Super Wet Euro Clear Kit makes 1-1/2 quarts of sprayable Clear.

- Shipping time: This refers to the time it takes for items to be shipped from our warehouse to the destination. US orders are shipped by Fed Ex. After processing and leaving the warehouse, items usually take between 2 and 5 days to arrive at their destination but can take longer from time to time.

I found Auto Paint HQ with a web search. I was looking for a red that changed colors depending on the light, creases and humps of the metal. I settled on the strawberry pearl after testing 5 other colors. You should really shoot some plastic forms to get an idea of what this paint can look like. I talked with Jeff and he was really helpful. He sent me 5 pints of my chosen colors along with the rest of the quart kit. I highly recommend doing this! I wasn’t happy with the quality of the black base paint. Jeff sent me a better quality base at no charge. I’m not a professional painter by any means. It took me a ton of practice to get my gun right and my technique. I painted a bunch of other things before this bike project. I was able to lay down this paint and clear with no orange peel. I didn’t even cut or buff it. Laid down really slick after I got dialed in. Lastly, I’ve been pretty rough with these tins during reassembly and this paint has been tough as nails. I highly recommend this paint and Jeff at Auto Paint HQ!
