Frequently Asked Questions
Our factory basecoats are designed for overall use, not spot repairs. There are many variables that can affect color match, including the age of the existing finish, sun exposure, previous refinishing, spray technique, reducer choice, clear coat, and application conditions.
Because of that, we cannot guarantee a perfect color match for repair work or spot painting. If you choose to use our factory basecoat for a repair area, please understand that we do not take responsibility or make claims regarding color match. These products are best suited for full refinishing and full customization projects.

Our 4:1 Super Wet Show Clear is our most popular clear and the more user-friendly option of the two. It lays down smooth, buffs easier, and makes 5 quarts sprayable when purchased as a gallon kit.
Our 2:1 Super Wet Euro Clear is built for painters who are familiar with European-style, high-solids clear coats. It is a great option for those who already understand how 2:1 clear systems spray and flow. When purchased as a gallon kit, it makes 2 gallons sprayable.

That said, screens, lighting, camera settings, and viewing conditions can all affect how a color appears. For the best in-person preview, we recommend ordering a custom painted sample.

No. Our paints are solvent-based, so freezing temperatures do not affect them the way they would affect water-based products.
We recommend using a 2K primer system, such as our Super Fill Primer or Sure Seal Sealer, before repainting any vehicle. This helps with proper adhesion and creates a better foundation for our paint systems.
A strong finish starts with the right base. Prep it right, and the color has a much better shot at laying down clean.
