Our Epoxy Primer Sealer is a high quality primer designed to be used as a corrosion resistant primer with superior flexibility and adhesion to virtually all substrates. It is a great foundation for your paint job if you are priming over bare metal, Fiberglass, body filler, and even existing sanded finishes. Epoxy Primer is DTM (Direct to Metal), which eliminates the need for a self etch primer. Epoxy primer can be painted over, but is usually primed over with a build primer such as a urethane primer. Once Catalyzed it can be made into an excellent sealer by reducing 10-20% with the appropriate temperature urethane reducer.

Added l88 flares to 68 corvette. Used the epoxy to seal fiberglass. Topped with high build polyester primer, sealed again with epoxy. Just applied candy over gold. Epoxy work as described.
I use it first over body work and bare metal. So far I like it. It adheres to the surface like glue. I put my high primer build over it . We have had no issues.
